Yes, pause will be available for all features as a new global setting.
First, we have to upgrade the navigation module to be compatible with pause. It will take a few more updates.The ability to skip to any line within a scenario chapter is already implemented. As @Lyfox mentioned correctly, it is the purpose of “Next” button.

We will be working on Quality-of-Life improvements after Gathering and Scenario Engine updates:August 15, 2020 at 7:31 pm #23219While we’re on the topic of scripting/debugging QoL, if it’s not on the internal ToDo list already, i’d like to suggest a way to temporarily disable or “comment out” an entire scenario chapter. Somewhat like the way you can comment out individual lines, but for a full chapter, with only a few clicks.
Or maybe a special “Skip everything below this line in this chapter” command you can quickly type in at the top. Or somewhere else in the middle of a chapter even, that would allow even more flexibility.

It’s not as trivial as it seems, because certain Miqobot modules will break if interrupted by chat. They have to be carefully redesigned before interruptions become possible.This feature is classified as QoL improvement.
