    I have been trying to figure this one out for a while;

    I am trying to gather items that pop randomly into nodes for example items like maps.

    I have figured out how to do this (typing name of the item into gathering window). The problem I’m having is that I only want that item gathered but when the bot opens the node and the window pops, if there isnt the item there, it freezes. SO to combat this problem I typed in a common item second in the list so that the bot looks for the rare item first, gathers if there and if not it moves on to the other item that will always be on each node.

    So my questions is, I have seen senarios around ephemeral nodes where the bot only clicks on the node and does actually gather anything… Can I do this but the bot checks the node, sees that it doesnt have the item, then leaves the node and moves onto the next?

    To be specific here is an example I am currently working on…

    Item needed: Blood Currant Seeds
    Navgiation grid: Thyme

    Bot will happily run around the grid gathering at each spot, in order, blood currant seeds (if there is one), then thyme (if not). It will gather until its alloted swings/digs/cuts or w/e they’re called are done, then move to next. This of course takes up time as its mainly gathering thyme which is not needed. Can I set it up so that it only gathers blood currant seeds and ignores everything else?

    Any help or thoughts appreciated.

    Yes, there are plans to implement this behaviour in the future.

    However, please note that this method will render compass abilities ineffective. If you make Miqobot skip a gathering node and the next one is not in the immediate vicinity, she will be unable to find it and will get stuck.
    You can of course use Beacons instead of compass abilities, but this will probably make your navigation grids unnecessary complicated.

    This feature is classified as QoL improvement. In the meantime, please use Gather by Name to deplete gathering nodes naturally.
