QoL suggestion: Whisper while you work

Hey there,

as one of those people who got punished already for not being cautious I became pretty paranoid with the usage of miqobot and I noticed something, that could potentially become an issue and I have an idea, how it could be fixed, but I’m not sure if this is possible to do (or at least it will be kind of tricky to implement).

While you are using the crafting solver you cannot write in chat, because the instant you click the chat it is deselected instantly, because miqobot wants to use the crafting skills (which from what I remember reading is sending key commands – the safest and most non-intrusive way as well as the reason miqobot is so safe).

Now what would happen, if suddenly a GM whispered you and you cannot write back? Your only option would be to hit the stop button and maybe risk getting unwanted attention. My theoretical solution would be, to implement some kind of feature, that recognizes you clicking the chat window and switches to some kind of chat-craft mode that deselects your chat window just for using the next skill and instantly selects the chat again until you can use the next skill and so forth. This way you could still type in chat, while continuing to craft (you could tell a gm that you’re crafting via controller for example, while you’re texting him).
But it is also pretty annoying that you for example can’t answer to whispers or write in FC chat, while you’re crafting without having to hit stop.

Maybe the miqobot team comes up with an even better solution for this, but I mainly wanted to throw the snowball down the snowy hill so it can become bigger.

Oh, I totally didn’t see that. Well, then I’m looking forward to it.
It’s also nice to see, that miqobot thinks about pretty much everything and it’s always lovely to see how our communitys opinion is really taken serious.

AS someone who has been whispered by a GM plenty, they will just finish filling out the ticket if you don’t respond after 5 minutes. I’ve had it happen plenty.
