Since there seems to be no meaningful way to get the bot to collect aether currents on it’s own, but virtually all grids are made assuming that the player can fly, would it be possible to get an option to ignore sneak/mount/fly flags during gathering? I realize that this is slower and may break some grids, but this is better than not being able to use a grid that would otherwise function fine if not for the part where the bot repeatedly jumps in a failed attempt to fly between waypoints.

How exactly would you ignore them? Some fly points go over pits and cliffs and ignoring them means getting stuck in a wall.

But if you really want to force it its very easy. Open grid in notepad, click edit – replace all ‘fly’ into ‘foot’, save, import.

You could always make your own walking grids but im not sure why you would use the bot to gather before you have completed MSQ and got all the aether currants already.

Running a pure walking grid in some of the shadowbringer nodes would greatly increase the time it takes to actually gather them enmass as there are some that are very far apart. And honestly would look more like botting then if you did fly. The bots walking micro adjustments are much more obvious on foot then in the air.

That said you can also manually adjust the navigation grids after you imported them by turning on edit and turning all flying points to foot or mount.

And on a side note you probably could get miqobot to get aether currants for you but you would need to make a custom grid for that. You would just need the bot to walk you up to an aether currant and hit what ever key you have for select a target and confirm.

Your idea about botting the aether currents sounds plausible, but remember that some currents are only available through quests, as rewards for completion rather than something in the world to navigate to and activate. You could probably create a navgrid to reach and attune all of the in-world currents, though I doubt there’d be much demand for it since it’s something you only ever do once.
