Mimics in POTD

While using the bot for the first time in my POTD Necro runs I noticed two occasions that chests were marked in red text showing them as mimics, however after seeing those two a couple of floors later I started opening chests that were mimics and were not identified by the bot. What exactly is going on here, does the bot not detect mimics or is it just random? On two occasions it did but on other occasions it did not.

She detects them only in bronze chests. Silver and gold mimics are impossible to detect from client side.
