    Would using a PC with a Japanese keyboard affect Miqobot? For example, if I was using a scenario someone made, would the keyboard layout mess it up since us keyboard and Japanese keyboards have the keys in different places?

    We do not have access to Japanese keyboards, therefore we are not able to verify the answer to this question.
    We haven’t heard of any issues related to local keyboard layouts, so most likely you won’t encounter them.

    But if you do, please feel free to contact our Tech Support directly:

    I’m Japanese and I am also using a Japanese keyboard.

    The software doesn’t seem to have any issues.

    I’ve tried gathering/squadron missions/battle assist. All worked fine.

    Not sure about using a scenario though. But I assume there wouldn’t be any issue. Keyboards are designed to be used in any operating environment regardless of the language. So even if some keys are in different places, the keys themselves will still work the same between US and JP.

    me japanese client player
    No problem using miqo for 1 year

    Here is general things you have to know when you download the scenario:

    -pay attention to the keyboard layout(キーバインド設定)

    -translate and replace all material name from English to Japanese in the gathering node
    for example, Doma Iron to 餅鉄

    -translate and replace all craft receipe name from English to Japanese in the senario
    Here is the example: You have to replace Night Vinegar to ダークビネガー in order to make it work

    startMateriaExtraction()
    ignoreQuality(off)
    job(cul)
    recipe(ダークビネガー, 1)
    //originally, recipe(Night Vinegar, 1)
    craft(1)
