Been botting for a long time, and use it for a wide array of uses. I use two service accounts, one for some heavy botting, and then just my main I bot lightly and mostly just actually play. If the bot account were to get banned, is there any chance FFXIV IP bans? I tried to do some researching on it but results were a bit foggy. I’m pretty cautious with the usual safety measures, and I’ve actually never had any issues to date in all the time I’ve been botting. But I know nothing is 100% proof and I would rather know and be certain.
I use two setups as well, the bot account is typically running on an entirely separate machine. A follow up question for if FFXIV does IP ban is if a basic VPN would avoid this. If I just have a VPN on the other machine while my bot is running and by chance it got smacked by the ban hammer. Would my actual IP be safe?
If anyone knows more about this stuff I’d love to know, thanks.
