Leveling 80-90 using Shadowbringer Trusts

I know the new instances (81-90) are not ready yet. I am wondering should I use lvl 75 or 80 instances (Qitana Ravel and Heroes’ Gauntlet) for the time being? or would the exp be so bad that it’s not worth it?

Qitana Ravel gives 1.6ish million exp per run Heroes’ Gauntlet gives much much less In the hundreds of thousands. Not even 1 million exp.

Is this still true with the change to exp in dungeons? Now only the bosses give exp and the mobs don’t give anything.

No its not, i dont even know where people are pulling these numbers from, ive leveled a class from 80 to 90 using qitana and a class using heros, both dungeons give 1.3 million exp (no earrings, no food, do have rested though) qitana gives just above 1.3m and heros gives just below 1.4m. they each take about 13 hours per class. if you want to optimise, do heros as you earn more seals from the gear trade ins.

I know for sure, that at least from 80 onwards qitana is superior in exp from each boss. And this is in line with every other flat x0 Dungeons (50, 60, 70) they are all far inferior to previous dungeons in term of exp. Heroes’ is superior in terms of trust exp though.

Heroes' / Qitana
1. Boss: 173.512 (+125%) / 390.419 (+125%)
2. Boss: 303.651 (+125%) / 527.779 (+125%)
3. Boss: 390.419 (+125%) / 678.572 (+125%)

I suppose you either miscalculated or have overseen some other exp income, like the agenda.

I’d like to additionally verify what Nekro said by providing my own XP counts. XP done on 83 Paladin.

It’s misinformation.

It’s a well known fact that 50-60-70-80 dungeons will ALWAYS give less experience than otherwise numbered.

Qitana will always give more XP than Heroes’.

I did my own test after I replied to this to see and Qitana does give more exp.

I do believe all 50, 60, 70, 80 dungeons give less than any 49, 59, 69, 79, and the reason I came to this conclusion is. The “Cap” dungeons, 50, 60, 70, 80 dungeons were just that. The “reward” for running them was a minion and tomes at some point. They are not “leveling” dungeons. This is the only thing I can come up with.

I should also mention the ‘boosted’ experience SE changed was level 81+ one reason why 81 is going to be SO damn nice once Miqo unlocks it. You’ll be able to practically do 81-90 in ~25 dungeons instead of the current 50.
