Yes, this behaviour is very much alike to a case when Miqobot is not capable to make a progress step. Careful Synthesis III is not suited for discrete progress steps due to non-zero CP cost.

Would you please check your hotbar for Basic Synthesis?

I managed to upload them by changing their extension to .txt

And you were right, somehow, I put Standard Synthesis and not the Basic Synthesis on my Hotbar, I had the feeling I was making a stupid rookie mistake somewhere after rearranging abilities for this new version of Miqobot.

I just attempted the craft again, and it finally worked flawlessly, I apologise for this dumb mistake.

Thank you for letting us know that the issue is resolved.

Perhaps we should take a closer look at Careful Synthesis III. This kind of issue should not be a source of annoyance for our users. We might be able to use CS3 as discrete basis, but it will require reassembling certain parts of the progress algorithm. We’ll try to fix it for Upgrade Stage 3.

Since the bot can see what is on your hotbars, could you not just get it to throw an error message when it doesn’t detect the 10 recommended cross-class abilities and basic abilities it needs. Seems strange to me that you need to rummage around the forum to find the basic setup.

Yes, we consider this feature as well.

However, there is no guarantee that the character has actually leveled all crafting jobs to 50 (and GSM to 54) in order to possess all mentioned cross class abilities, and Miqobot is not yet capable of verifying this. This will require further research and development and will take more time for next version.
But we should at least implement a warning message for Basic Synthesis.

It really was my mistake, I should have taken care of having all the abilities on my Hotbars and not missing one.

I guess that now that it requires up to 47 slots on 4 Hotbars for a specialist, it’s a little bit more problematic than it used to be, but it’s really down to the player to take care of that, more than Miqobot to spend time on workarounds.

so i tested the solver by crafting some infusion potions, but i noticed some things.

I like that now the solver is utilizing new skills, but it appears that miqobot is greatly underestimating how powerful Byregot’s Blessing is. I have been seeing that miqobot solver is overshooting Quality by 10k+ most of the time, wasting time doing Prudent touches that it didnt need.

It also would be better for the solver to utilize Careful Synthesis 3 instead of spamming careful synthesis 2, when the CP is more than sufficient.

This behaviour is explained in our original guide: Crafting Solver: A Few Advices

Just got a weird thing happening, i made a wind cristal farming grid “on the fly” and a new gathering preset for them @Hawthorne as miner.

On the preset i set it this way (sorry i’m playing the game in french :s) :

Gathering node : Carrière de pierre

Slot : 6

Count : 1500

Skills : a rotation with just the wind favor w/ start & finish as i am only 51 miner on my alt so i only got 403GP

The thing that just happend is that Miqo gave 2 hits on the shards on slot 5 then went for the cristals on slot 6.
If that may help you, i think the second hit gave me enough GP for the selected rotation (Miqo didn’t actually run it, but it may have triggered something for Miqo)

I’d have prefered Miqo to hit cristals even w/o the rotation as this is what i’m trying to farm.

Am i doing something wrong?

Yes, there is a known minor bug in rotation algorithm, wherein it would accidentally switch gathering slots when GP replenishes half way through the node. We are planning to address this issue in the next version.
However it should not interfere with what you want Miqobot to do.

Curly braces {} prevent an item to be gathered if there’s not enough GP, and this is the intended behaviour. If you want to gather it with and without a rotation, please specify this item twice:

• An issue wherein Miqobot would dismount immediately after mounting under certain network conditions.

Not sure if this is the right place to post.. but can you make it so that Miqobot stops its actions when the inventory is full or when inventory full msg pops up. Because for spearfishing, it still attempts to hit the node or gets kinda stuck and attempts to move on the mount, so it kinda jerks in the same spot. Have been accused of botting due to that.

to avoid this problem i am using Scenario mode just tell the bot to gather your profil for 1h or less depends on your inventory space.
than just dismount, repair, start aetherial reduction and repeat how often you want.

and the bot will not stuck anymore for a while at least.
